Over at egullet, they're raving about the reopened Straits of Malaya. I don't recall any reports yet over here. Back in the day, we really enjoyed SoM, as something a bit different (this is back before Malaysia Kopitiam, etc.) and intriguing, even if the dishes at times tended to blur together. (Lots of tamarind, IIRC.) I wonder how, if at all, it's changed.
Possibility for a Chow lunch?
