I'm here for the summer and may consider moving here next year. Is it possible to get a sense of the food scene or will I make the trip only to be overrun with sausages and funnel cakes? (I happen to enjoy funnel cakes, by the way. Just wouldn't want to fight crowds of people to enjoy them.) I hear 9th Ave Food Festival in NYC went the generic route several years ago. I was never able to enjoy it in its glory . . .
Anyway, I digress. What are the can't-miss booths?
