Best Store-Bought Cheesecake?

ninrn | Jan 3, 202210:23 PM     13

I need a plain cheesecake layer for a complicated celebration cake I’m going to make next month. The other components are a lot of work, so I thought I’d buy the cheesecake layer if I can find something at a grocery store that’s not too sweet or full of chemicals and corn syrup (birthday girl cannot tolerate HFCS at all). Does anyone have any recommendations? I don’t want to get anything as expensive as Eli’s, Junior’s, or Collins Street. None of the local bakeries in my city make good cheesecake, but I wondered if stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Natural Grocer’s, etc. might have a nice plain, naturally sweetened cheesecake tucked away somewhere.

Thanks very much,
ninrn
