how to stop water forming in my steam custard

billy198621 | Jul 11, 201505:51 AM     1

When I make steamed custards in a plastic electric steamer I have to place plastic wrap ocer the ramekins as the steamer does evaporated the water it just collects on the lid and the sides then drips into my custard

But steam droplets also form on the plastic wrap too and ruins the batch

How can I stop this??

I like steaming them instead of baking in a water bath sometimes as it faster but its hit and miss sometimes

Could I put a towl over the lid?

Cheers
