Steel cut Brown Rice?

On a recent visit to my local Korean grocer, I was introduced to a new type of brown rice. The clerk explained that it was processed differently than normal brown rice, making it cook in the same amount of time as white rice. He seemed to be saying that it was cut in a certain way. I cooked up a batch and it was wonderfully fluffy and somewhat sticky, making it more convenient and tastier than normal brown rice. I bought a sample tub of it without any product info. Has anyone else seen this product? Know the name or have any further info?
