Steamed Intestine :)

After reading some of the posts about szechuan food I was wondering if anyone could direct me on the following. There used to be a szechuan "hole in the wall" on Pell St. in Chinatown. It was called Ting Fu Gardens. Most everything on the menu was excellent and as I recollect as close to true szechuan as I've had. Been to Grand Szechuan Int'l and it's good. But at Ting Fu they had a dish that I ordered most times and it was Steamed Intestine. I know it sounds gross but actually was well cleaned, not gamey, and spiced with that special szechuan taste. They would seemingly coat it in a spicy paste and then steam it for ever. The result was sublime and the closest thing I've had to it was at The Golden Monkey in Flushing about 10 yrs ago. It was a somewhat different style but was still good. Any help would be appreciated
