I will be in NY for a few nights in a couple of weeks.
I have researched steak houses and needless to say it is a daunting task. I've narrowed my choices down to 5 places:

One consideration is that my wife is not the carnivore I am. Therefore, a place with a variety of selections (unlike Peter Lugar) is required. Your comments on these places will help me decide. One factor is that I plan to bring an old Bordeaux, so a the more wine friendly the place the better - Up to $40 corkage will be okay.
