Steak tartar near Gobelins and other questions

raz868 | Mar 26, 201805:28 AM     12

Hi,

Our annual trip to Paris will be this april. Will be staying near metro Les Gobelins, and am looking for a casual place to have good steak tartar(very important)/oysters/seafood platter around this area. I know there are places scattered on Avenue des Gobelins just north of the metro station but I found some of them so-so regarding food last time we stayed here (Les Négotiants being one of them). How is Les Pipos? (although not exactly in this area). Also, has anyone been to Au Bon Coin on Rue de la Collégiale recently? It seems to be getting good reviews, and seems to be serving classic french cuisine. Is this correct?

Also, deciding between Lambroisie and Lasserre for a high-end dinner. Have not done one in Paris for years. Lambroisie seems to be astronomically expensive. Is the food there fantastic? Has anyone been recently at either of these restaurants?

And lastly, looking for a good place for lunch in central Reims on a tuesday. Classical bistrot food preferably but doesn't really matter. Price around 100 euro for two if possible? Walking distance to train station, I guess.

Thank you to all contributors to this site. Will report back.
