So, my BF got into the graduate program of his choice (in L.A., thankfully) and we are intent on splurging on some red meat. I'm really tempted by JudiAU's Balboa review, esp. the 1/2 price wine on Sundays, but am also wondering if we should try Dan Tana or the Palm (BH or Downtown?). Any other suggestions?
Ruth's Chris BH is out from the bad reviews on this board. We've been to Morton's in OC. While good, i hate the "presentation" of meats.
Oh yeah, extra points for any restaurant that has a good souffle. The best we've had is at La Cachette.
