Steak in Philly

Josh Miller | May 2, 2004 12:11 AM

My family loves steak restaurants for special occasions. We love the Palm in New York and in L.A., but not in Philadelphia. Morton's of Chicago in Philadelphia, NY, and Miami has been great--elegant, terrific martinis, perfectly cooked big steaks--and I imagine Morton's in Philadelphia is superior to other chains like Prime Rib, Capital Grille and Ruth's Chris. One intriguing name, and not a chain, is "Saloon." I've never been. Are the steaks as good there as the other places?
