In Rosarito, near the Rosarito Beach Hotel, Vince's Seafood Market and Restaurant is serving fresh lobster (order it "al vapor", not fried, please).
La Bamba, the 50's style restaurant (similar to Ruby's Diner) on Popotla Blvd. is closed.
The Mongolian Grill place in the condo high rise still gets good remarks.
Tapanco Restaurant for grilled steaks, venison, quail and even salmon and fish is going strong and always good quality and value.. Km 31.5 on Popotla Blvd.
Ruben's Palm Grill in Cantamar has the best Sunday Brunch Buffet at $12.95 with free flowing mimosas/champagne. We had dinner in Ruben's last night (Great char-grilled burger, not medium or medium rare, but still, the flavor was fresh and beefy, even on the second day when I ate my take home) and there were several flat screen TVs that had many football games on (Chargers, Patriots, Dallas something - sorry I don't care about football)
