My love of snickerdoodles started in biz. school where we would frequent a Chinese-Caribbean-Mexican joint. They had the best jerk chicken fried rice. Anyway, the food was spicy and you were always given a big snickerdoodle before you left to soothe the burn.

Every once in a while, local friends will pop down to Arizona for a weekend and bring/send a dozen back to us. Oddly enough, our neighbor or the post office has intercepted this package before we have. Since leaving Arizona, I've never searched for a snickerdoodle recipe but upon downloading yours, found motivation. That recipe makes 72 cookies. It's a good thing they freeze well because I've plowed through at least 10 since last night and it's got to stop.
