Stainless Steel v.s. Carbon Steel Pans in terms of oil/fat use

Cata96 | Aug 30, 201802:28 AM     20

Hello, I've been eyeing a Carbon Steel pan for a while, but in Romania they are quite hard to find, but what I was thinking of getting is a deBuyer 28cm Carbon or Mineral B one... altho I'm not sure that they are Oven safe.
But the real question is, would a carbon steel seasoned pan be more efficient in terms of cooking with oil, as by example, unseasoned SS takes quite some fat to not get your eggs to stick, but will Carbon Steel use less?

That's pretty much my concern, and if it is like that, than I'll be running to the store!
Thanks!
