St.-Viateur Bagels Around the Corner from Carnegie Hall!

Peter Cherches | Mar 9, 2010 04:30 PM

I was walking to the 57th St. subway station and saw a blackboard in front of a newish gourmet prepared food and catering place, Marketa (135 W. 56, bet. 5th & 6th). One of the items listed was Montreal bagels. I walked in and saw bags full of bagels from St.-Viateur (printed with their logo, addresses, etc.). I asked the guy how much they were. They go for $2 each, and a sandwich with smoked salmon & cream cheese is $12.50. He said he gets them fresh Mondays through Thursdays.
