Here we go - Lunch @ Brandy Pete's - Probably the best
boiled New England Dinner I've ever had at a
Rich, tender corned beef served w/ boiled carrots,
sweet & white taters, cabbage and since I'm with
clients and the day is young, weak coke w/lemon.
Dinner @ Clio- cool surroundings and a nice quiet bar
in The Eliot Hotel - a nice way to relax after a full
day of selling my wares.
Dinner for myself and 5 clients ( old friends-very
casual) was overpriced but everyone! enjoyed their
meal) I had pan seared scallops with a caviar sauce for
an app and a combo of short ribs & hangar steak for my
The tasting menu as described by our very nice waiter
Billy sounded cool.
Next day - lunch @ Pomodoro in the No. end.
Curt waiter - water, beer, or wine! my friend asked- Do
you have any soda? This clown says-didn't you hear what
I said? I ask any specials? What a look!!
However- we all had a DYNAMITE lunch!
All pastas- Linguine w/Mussels, Farfalle W/tiger
shrimp, salt cod, calamata olives, artichokes & new
potatoes & Excellent meat ravioli.
I think this Waiter/ Owner sort of settled down after I
told him to turn down the music or we were history.
I would definetly go back.
Expresso down the block at his cuzin's place Graffiti>
Regards, JK
