St. Mary's Crab Joints--advice?

johnb | Jul 16, 2004 10:00 AM

My sweetie and I are planning a drive tomorrow down Rt. 5/301 into St. Mary's, in search of good crabcakes, maybe fried oysters if available, etc. We're planning a stop at either Capt. John's in Cobb Island or Capt. Billy's in Pope's Creek (or both??). How do these two compare, especially for the above dishes (we're not really looking for steamed crabs this trip). Should we forget them both and head to Drift Inn? How about other places?

On a related topic, does anyone have an update on Stoney's in Broome Island--is it re-opened yet, or is there at least a date set?
