SS or Nonstick for Pancakes?

arielleeve | Jan 8, 201107:43 AM

I recently acquired some nice new cookware: a SS simmer pan and a nonstick scanpan. Although I'm planning on getting a double burner griddle pan in the near future, too, I'm wondering whether for now it is better to use the SS or the nonstick for my pancakes? I also have a cast iron which I've used in the past, but I never thought it did such an amazing job. The nonstick is only 9" so I'd be doing one pancake at a time, so the space is definitely an advantage of the SS, I'm just not sure if they're good for pancakes or not. Thoughts?
