Spokane Bread and Butter (bakeries and dairies, oh my!)

prasantrin | Jul 23, 201605:08 AM     5

I'll be in town for a few days in August, and am looking for some excellent bakeries to fill my carb needs while I'm there. So far, I've added Common Crumb to my google map, but what else is there?

I'm looking primarily for viennoiserie (croissant croissant and more croissant!), but would love to find some kouign amann while I'm there. I've googled, and so far nothing comes up when I search Kouign Amann and Spokane, so I'm guessing I'm out of luck?

I also crave good challah bread.

Not so interested in cookies and cakes or pies, although I do love a good salted caramel tart, or lemon tart.

And if anyone can recommend a good local-ish (WA state made is local enough for my purposes) butter to go along with all my bread, I'd appreciate that recommendation, too! And milk, non-homogenized with the cream still floating on top!

(added info--have a car, can drive around. Am planning to hit Spokane and Liberty Lake farmers markets, so if there are specific baked goods / dairy vendors at either of those, I'd love to hear about them.)
