I'm attempting to make Splenda ice cream. I think I read in Cooks Illustrated that Splenda isn't as sweet as sugar so the amount varies--I mean 1 cup Splenda is not 1 cup sugar. Is this true? Do you know the ratio?
Also my mom made Splenda ice cream and the consistency was off, too smooth or something. It just seemed wierd, but maybe there's different kinds of Splenda. I bought the granular variety.
