Back in late June, Doug Miller asked about spiedino -- a version of mozzarella in carozza. I just found the article I mentioned about the skewered, grilled meat dish that is usually called "spiedini" (as in "skewered"): New York Times, January 16, 1991 "Don't Call It Shish Kebab: In Binghamton, It's Heaven" about what they call spiedies. In case anyone still cares.
