I took advantage of a sale on nice, fat, bright green jalapeños at my restaurant supply store. I am smoking some now, and I made 2 big batches of "Cowboy Candy" which is jalapeño in a spicy simple syrup (spiked with turmeric, garlic, celery seed and cayenne pepper). It also has some apple cider vinegar in it, but it is still sweet. For some reason, I have a ton of this syrup left over!
Man....it is waaaay too good to waste.
Chow friends....what would you do with the spicy, delicious syrup?
