spicy grub, chinese, a few thanks...mixed topics

Okay this is a mixed post...here goes:

I'm looking for spicy food. I can't think of anytime in my life where I've eaten out, at an ethnic place, and have it be as hot as I'd like. And I *always* request heat. "As hot as you can make it please. Chicken vindaloo? Chicken schmindaloo, pour on the heat!" I just can't find it. I have some Peruvian friends, and when I eat at their mom's, she makes this salsa that's nothing more than pureed habaneros, salt, pepper, and vinegar. That's what I'm used to. If anyone can recommend ANY ethnic place, thai, chinese, mexican, south american, I love everything, I'd be very appreciative! Oh and any dufus can dump Dave's Insanity sauce on anything, I'd help if the food actually tasted good too =)

Next: chinese junk food. Remember in high school when you'd smoke a joint with your friends, or maybe knock down a few beers on the beach, and get that insane, gnawing craving for mall chinese food? Most likely not, but it's something my girlfriend and I grew up with. Days of getting high are gone, but the cravings aren't. She recently ordered in some incredibly mediocre, stale, flavorless chinese food. I'm looking for GOOD junk food. Freshly fried chicken, not stale. Decent noodles. Decent egg rolls. Beef and broccoli! When I want authentic I go to San Gabriel valley. Sometimes I just want the junk. any reccs? Delivery a plus

And a thanks to Thi for the latest rec to La Indiana for tamales. I bought 8 tamales, pack of tortillas (ingredients: corn, water, lime) and a half pound of the best carnitas I've ever had. I knew I'd found something good when they greeted me (a bonafide gabacho) in spanish.
