My 81 years old Mom and I are spending a long weekend in Manhattan. She loves fine dining. We already have reservations at Per Se and Aureole. She's been to Bouley and Danube (loves them both). We hate all of Daniel's restaurants (too snooty). I'm thinking about Alain Ducasse, Gilt or Jean Georges for the third dinner. Any place else? I was thinking about Le Bernardin, but she's been there, and it is too corporate in feeling. She prefers French/Continental/American cuisine. We're staying at the Waldorf so I'd prefer to stay midtown. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
