A special birthday at a reasonable price?

janetofreno | Jan 11, 201109:34 PM     4

DH has one of those major "rounded" birthdays next month, and I'm looking for a way to treat him to a nice meal out. We simply can't afford the high-end places right now (saving to visit our son in Japan), and we'll be traveling to Tucson to visit dear friends and relax a bit the next day....so don't want to go overboard. Still, I hate to have the evening pass without doing SOMETHING. Any ideas? Something romantic and quiet would be ideal. Does anyone know if Charlie Palmer's Cut of the Week deal is good on weekends? This will be a Friday evening. Just looking for ideas for something I haven't tried before. Strip or off-strip is fine. Any ethnic except Chinese is also fine (DH is not big on Chinese, and it is HIS birthday after all.....)
