Speaking of Centreville, VA...

I was over there yesterday and saw that Old Glory Barbecue had closed up last September.

I had tried the original Georgetown location years ago and was not wowed so I never bothered to try the Centreville outpost. Guess it wasn't so good. This is the second barbecue joint to fail in Centre Ridge (the first was where Bonefish is now).

Also, next door to the shuttered Old Glory (where a Bertucci's failed earlier) an Armand's now occupies part of the arcade/mini golf building. Is it any good?

Finally, there's a pho joint over near the Shoppers Food but with a name like "Pho Young Chow" -- a not-so-subtle hint that it's owned by the folks who own the Young Chow eatery a few doors down I'm not holding out great hopes.
