A column in this week's Skyline newspaper said it was the high rent that did Spago in. The wording of the item pre-supposed that everyone knew the restaurant was already closed, and sounded like a "next-day" follow-up notice giving the reason why.
Having never heard it was out of business, I was somewhat shocked. A call to the restaurant yielded a phone recording saying Spago is closed for remodeling.
Anyone know the truth to this?
