Southern Praline Pecan Cake? Long Question. Need Help

I came across a rather unusual sounding recipe that I wondered if anyone had heard of or tried. It is for a Praline cake that calls for putting a container of frosting directly into the cake batter. Does cake like this need an icing or frosting and can anyone tell me if it actually tastes good. Anyone up for trying this recipe?

1 ( package butter pecan, german chocolate, or butter cake mix)
1 16oz container of coconut pecan frosting
4 eggs
1/3 to 2/3 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 10 inch Bundt Pan with
non stick spray

Combine the cake mix with the frosting, eggs, oil, water and half the chopped pecans

Put Batter in pan and sprinkle remaining pecans on top and bake approximately 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
