Southern N.J. is NOT a suburb of Phila.

South Jersey was primarily a rural farming section of N.J. somewhat cut off from Phila. until 1957. It wasn't until the Cherry Hill Mall opened in '61 on a farm tract (surrounded by nothing but... cows and crops that it gradually developed into a suburb of sorts but even today is very much not primarily populated with former Philadelphian or, for that matter, former Pennsylvanians. I can assure you that there are a majority of hungry S.J. diners seeking information on S.J. restaurants who would find it illogical to look at the Phila. board. j
