Making beef bourgignon on New Years. However, in the past I have been frustrated by my inability to locate:
1) Tiny button mushrooms (maybe half inch in diameter, at most)
2) True baby carrots (not those machine hewn carrot cylinders they sell at Safeway). I see these once in a while at the farmers market, but not consistently.
3) A CHUNK of real slab bacon, with a nice smokey flavor, that can be cut into quarter inch cubes
I live in Hollywood Hills.
Where would a restaurant order these things from?
