Source for spigarello?

The LA Times this morning ran an article on a variety of broccoli rabe known as spigarello, apparently spelled spigariello in Italy. It is described as having a flavor between "regular" broccoli rabe and kale. The article makes the claim that this green can only be found in a few SoCal farmer's markets and restaurants. Can anyone disprove this and tell me where I might find this green in the Bay Area?
