After a not very impressive visit when they first opened, I decided to give Soul Groove Waffles & Chicken another shot for lunch today. It was a bit better this time around.
Tried the burger with bacon topped with a gorgonzola stuffed pablano. The large patty (1/2 lb?) was handmade, and although overdone past medium it was still juicy. Two waffles were used in place of a bun, and surprisingly they held up well. The waffles are on the tough and chewy side, which I wouldn't expect from a place with waffles in its name, but they worked with the burger.
Fries were requested crispy and they did not disappoint.
Total with a 12oz can of soda, tax, and change to the tip jar came to $12.
