Went to Sorrel on Wednesday night. Really enjoyed myself we did the prixe fix for 25 bucks. Myself and my two friends. Two of us the beet and goat cheese salad the other friend had cauliflower soup. For entrees two of us had sea bass I had the pork chop on top of a potato puree with sauteed red cabbage. Capped it off with a bottle of Reisling. Chef came out and spoke to us and then sent us out a platter of West Coast oysters. We had many looks of envy from the crowd. Dessert two of us had the poached pear on top of chocolate for the third person had a panacotta. The service was great nothing to showy just the right amount of conversation and none to overbearing. Chef was gracious because he had run out of Pike. It is a great space and very romantic. You get great setting and even better food.
