I've never had one. Define what makes one great (in terms of flavor / texture / etc) in your estimation. As I understand it, it's a fried, sweet yeasted dough (as opposed to batter) that's finished with honey. Is it a hollow square pillow like beignets or a solid ball of airy fried dough, like zepppoles?
What else? Is it stuffed with anything? Sauced? What do you drink with it?
