The latest place to open in the old Bakeshop/felafel shop space. I noticed they were open and a parking spot suddenly appeared, and it was lunchtime.
This is more in the style of Picante than places like Gallegos or La Palmita. Their homemade tortillas were excellent with carnitas tacos, and they fried up nicely in the accompanying chips. A salsa bar takes the space of the felafel place's condiment bar, and has sides like beans in addition to the salsas.
Very reasonably priced at $4.95 for a regular burrito or two tacos. They're still working things out--it took 20 minutes for them to get me what turned out to be the wrong order, and another 15 to replace it. Nice outdoor seating in that little alleyway.
