Looking for Solo Lunch suggestions in Tokyo/Osaka

Haruhi7 | Jul 17, 201705:17 PM     6

Hello! A friend I'd planned to travel with can no longer join me when I go to Japan in September so I'll be going solo (and female.) I'm looking for places to hit up with nice/amazing/fancy Japanese lunch options that work for a solo diner.

I like:
yakitori/yakiniku
tofu
soba
donburi
tonkatsu
Kaiseki

Can't eat:
raw fish
spicy foods
offal

I'm already planning to have a lunch at Tousuiro in Kyoto while there for a day and Marugo in Akihabara but am open to other suggestions. Preferably in the Namba/Minami(Osaka) and Akihbara/Ochanomizu(Tokyo) areas, since those will be near my hotels.
English menus a plus but not requirement, I can manage as long as the menu's not entirely kanji.

thanks!
