Solo lunch near Bloomingdale's and Museum of Natural History

If all goes well, I will be able to spend the day on Friday, Aug. 19 in Manhattan, enjoying the Museum of Natural History, and shopping at Bloomingdale's, Barney's, Macy's, Madison Ave., 5th Ave., etc. (Stuff we don't get in Canada!) Please suggest the best place nearby to eat lunch by myself - I'm considering Le Bernardin, Tabla, Aquavit, or something upscale if it is relatively affordable (prix-fixe or under $25 for main courses) and close by. (I've already been to dinner at Nobu, Craft, Babbo, and Nougatine, and would like to try something else but would happily return if it is the best lunch out there!)

I would also happily consider something more casual, that I can't get in Toronto, i.e. not Chinese or Portugese. I LOVE real barbecue, but wasn't that impressed with Pearson's last time. Or maybe Latin American or Mexican. I don't want to go really far out of my way, however, since my time is very limited that day (I have to be in Jersey City by 6 pm). So, definitely not Katz's or Lombardi's, though I loved both in the past!

Thank you!
