Looking for solid, non-touristy Sunday brunch options ....

...near FQ, CBD or Warehouse zones.

Hi friends: I miss New Orleans so much. City is totally under my skin since the amazing april FQF visit. Under my skin and itching.

My friend/client and her friends/staff are coming to town end of May for some business but mostly pleasure. Thurs- monday and I think I have the meals/bars/clubs pretty well prepared for my recommendations. Providing a map with my own Karen key!

Missing: i want to give a really good recommendation for sunday brunch -- walkable from the Sheraton. No gos for me are Ruby Slipper or Cafe Adelaide.

One of my first thoughts was Cafe Amelie for both location and ambiance. (I had brunch their on my first nola visit and liked it -- although was not wowed as I recall.) I want to **avoid** the touristy places.

Spots I like are dante's & atchafalaya, however I want to give her some walkable options, too. Party of 5 - 6 women of variety of ages and travel/food adventurousness.

Anything new, or revamped, or surprising that you are liking these days?

Thank you!

Cafe Amelie,
The Ruby Slipper Cafe
