Solid meal at Patois

I dont know why I've never popped in there before, have always heard good things.

Anyway, beautiful night last night and my husband and I decided to spend it on their patio with a bottle of champagne. We shared the mussels to start (lovely, plump mussels, perfect dipping sauce for the bread). He had the hanger steak, I had the Beef Bourguignon. The hanger steak came out a perfect medium rare---I enjoyed the sauce when I tasted but husband felt it was just a little too rich but otherwise enjoyed. My beef bourguignon was homey and just what I was hoping for.

Waiter was attentive and helpful, staff extremely friendly (incl the kitchen staff when we went through the kitchen to get to and leave the patio).

All in all was nothing fancy, just well-prepared bistro standards, exactly what I want on a warm night on a patio.

Looking forward to going back and nice to have another neighborhood spot on the list for local meals.
