Sodium content in various soy sauces

lastZZ | Feb 26, 201605:12 PM     8

Sodium content in various soy sauces. Per 15ml serving which is same as one tablespoon. All info is from their label. So if you like the taste of soy sauce and want to add a lot without making your cooking too salty, then Trader Joes has the least salt. It also has no preservatives. It is made in Japan. Both Kikkomans are made in USA and had preservatives.
Try soy sauce in beans that you cook from dry. Goes well in split pea soup and white beans such as navy beans.

Kikkoman Regular---- 920mg
Kikkoman Low Sodium---575mg
Trader Joe's----- 460mg
Japanese made brand bought in an Asian store---- 740mg (no preservatives listed)
