Snug Harbor

This Santa Monica breakfast house always makes me hope that I am going to have a really great breakfast rather than just an OK experience. As my Mom, the venerable and veritable Ada used to say - 'we eat tasty at home and that's the least we should ask when we go out'. Well I had eggs benedict with very salty Canadian bacon, very overdone potatoes rather than well done and soggy muffins. Oh the hollandaise was a brief visit. We shared a large OJ and my partner had an egg white omelet with cottage cheese which was over $10. Bill was almost $30. Yes the waitresses are cheery and its a neighborhood place but its too pricey (for me) and not enough tasty.
