There's a Chinese bakery on MacDonald St across from the drivers license place that has the best dumplings filled with bitter greens, ready to eat, usually around lunch time. They are best if you take them home and heat them up and give them a quick dip in some ginger soy concoction, but often half the pack is gone before I get there. Last week I was too early for them and had flat pastries filled with radish (daikon?) that were even more irresistible. No time to heat or gussy up.
