experimented today smoking ribs w/ my gas grill. I used the economical way of smoking my ribs by using a aluminum baking foil and covered my soaked wood chips fw/ oil and punched holes on top. couldn't get the temperature below 200, but it settled around 215.
After an hour or so, the wood chips seems to stop smoking and there is very little smoke. so what I did, I put a fresh wood chips and after about 30 minutes, it's back to a good smoke. my question is, will the original wood chips last 4 to 6 hours while cooking in gas grill?
