Restaurants & Bars 18

I just returned from a visit to Chicago, where I was appalled at the fact that people were allowed to smoke in all of the establishments. In Seattle, where I am from, there is a city ordinance prohibiting smoking in restaurants. This is to protect those of us who do not wish to spend 100 dollars to eat fine food while inhaling second hand smoke. I was in a fine Chicago restaurant seated next to two chain smokers and our food became tainted by the overwhelming smell of tobacco smoke. This is a health hazard and should not be allowed. Does anyone agree?
