Smokecraft enters the local bbq wars as a major contender. At least judging from the ribs.
Perfectly acceptable ribs. To add to the honors, the beans are a '10' as good as it gets for texture and flavor. The greens are perfect for texture, flavor is very spicy so you have been warned. I prefer them not to be spicy, but I will say the flavor is well executed. They also give you cornbread muffins with peach butter, a nice touch though the muffins aren't all that great. Some nice pickle slices add to how good this meal is.
They offer at least six bottles of different sauce at the table. I tried only the spicy, which was more just a straight-up bbq sauce that did not detract form the essential goodness of the ribs. Just how I like it.
For the pulled pork sandwich, the pork is good, but I sure wish they didn't use a brioche bun, so that's a fail. Cole slaw is very good.
The menu has a lot of very interesting sandwiches. I am drawn to those not on a brioche. I'd quickly go back to try the cubano (there must be a craze going on because now I see cubanos listed everywhere), a Q-lub sandwich, and a reuben.
I'm already thinking about the return.
