last night i made slow cooker polenta in my slow cooker and noticed that one side got browned - seemed that there is a hot spot in the slow cooker! i've never noticed this before, and this little gem has given me plenty of great food. i got it at a thrift store for about $6!! Although probably about 20 yrs old, it was NIB, and I've been using it close to 10 years.
has anyone ever had a slow cooker fail? i figured it would go forever, but now i'm not so sure..
