SLCer moved to Denver- Recs from people familar with both areas?

Hi Chowhounders! I just moved from SLC to Denver and was wondering if someone out there with knowledge of both areas might have some recommendations based on what I liked in Salt Lake. I'm not looking for recommendations in a particular area of Denver, as I'm willing to travel throughout the area.

Takashi is hands down my SLC favorite- great sushi and I always loved their non-sushi Asian inspired dishes as well. I also really enjoyed Mazza, Pago, The Copper Onion, and the Tin Angel Cafe for dinners. Red Rock and Desert Edge were my go-tos for brewpubs with what I thought was pretty decent bar food (especially the nachos at Desert Edge). I also was a fan of Red Iguana; not sure that I'll find their same style of Mexican food here, but maybe a different Denver flavor. I would love to find a bakery like Les Madeleines or Tulie.

I'm almost always a solo diner, so places that aren't a big social 'scene' or where sitting at the bar or at a table for one will still make for a good dining experience are always appreciated. Right now Root Down, Rioja, and Sushi Den are the places that have struck my interest to try out. TIA.
