Skooby's Hot Dogs

AndieCat | May 23, 200404:55 PM

I went to Skooby's the other night on my way to the Egyptian Theater and I was impressed. I had the German (I think it was a bratworst) with everything (cheese, sauerkraut, pickle) and fries and my husband had the Garlic Lovers' Dog. They were both great. The fries were delicious; potatoes are cut right there and fried and sprinkled with a spice mix (I guess garlic salt and paprika). These were some of the best fries I've had in a while. Skooby's is a tiny storefront in the middle of a run-down block, so it is surprising how clean and cheerful it feels while you step in. The service is very friendly too.

6654 Hollywood Blvd
open until 2 am (I think) on fri and sat
right across from musso & frank's
