I've always loved and trusted D'Amico's on Court Street, but I wonder how they compare to the other options out there - Gorilla, Ozzie's, Gillies, etc. Who do you like, and what blends/roasts/origins are you buying?

For my part, I've fallen into a pleasant rhythm with D'Amico's Ccino Light, brewed in my stainless steel moka pot - divine, earthy cedar and cherry notes with a wonderfully weighted espresso-like mouthfeel.

I've also tried all of their African single-origin coffees and all of the other espresso blends. The Kenya AA deserves special mention, although I can only get so much out of such a light, bright brew. I've yet to try any of their non-espresso blends but I mean to, as I need something to fall back on when guests don't want my hair-raisingly dense daily brew.

What are your expreiences?
