Any Single Malt Whisky fans?

CHSeifert | Nov 6, 201811:59 PM     7

I’m getting a bit into single malt whisky.

I wonder if anyone else in here have some favourites to recommend?

My cheaper favourite classic smoother, though a bit bland single malts are Cragganmore 12, Highland Park 12 and Glenlivet 12.

If I want a bit more character in my single malt, I go for Bowmore 12 and Oban 14.

If I want a combination of almost everything in my single malt, Talisker 10 is what I prefer.

My favourite peaty stinkers and currently what I prefer from Isla are Lagavulin 16, Laphroaig Quarter Cask and Ardbeg 10.

I’m eying these more expensive older matured single malts as my next purchase in 2019:
Glenlivet 18
Talisker 18
Glenmorangie 18
Bowmore 18
Highland Park 18

Macallan 18 is out of my price range unfortunately.

Let me hear which single malt whisky’s you enjoy/own/prefer?

Cheers, Claus
