What simple tools for hand mixing a batter?

glify | Jun 12, 201612:01 AM     9

Hi,

I'm an amateur cook and tried mixing a cookie batter with a spoon in a big eating bowl. It went okay but was tiring and the mix wasn't perfect.

What is a better way to do it? I'm thinking a 2 Litter pyrex bowl next time and a whisk? My concern is that a whisk seems a bit flimsy for a cookie batter like the one I made today.

Thanks
